It has been a pleasure working with both of you over the last 3 years in what have sometimes been the most challenging circumstances – from renovations, to COVID, to recalcitrant co-leaseholders/freeholders, to axe-wielding “removal” men – and I would like to thank you both again for your professionalism, approachability and the personal service/support you have provided. Best regards Euan
Throughout the process of finding my next home, Tim and his team at Cutler & Bond provided a sterling service. Tim is one of the most professional estate agents you are likely to meet; a pleasure to deal with, utterly helpful – even providing updates on a Sunday, and really knowledgeable too. He also listens to what type of property you want rather than pushing something on the books which isn’t appropriate, will also listen to any concerns and do his utmost to sort. He went above and beyond duty when he speeded up the exchange and completion process and provided great communication despite unnecessary delays from the lawyers! I would definitely instruct Tim if I sell my home or indeed purchase another property in the future.
I began seriously searching for a flat at the beginning of the year, and realised quickly how competitive the market was at my price level. I saw 3 flats that I liked over a period of 4 months but was gazumped or pipped at the post by sealed bids. Cutler & Bond advertised one I liked and Tim Day arranged a viewing very quickly at a time to suit me. Within hours we had agreed terms on the understanding that the flat was removed from the web and no longer advertised, or open to viewings. Tim was honest, helpful and proactive throughout and although the procedure took longer than expected, he was always available and cooperative. I would highly recommend his Company and was grateful for all his assistance until completion.
Tim Day is the guy who put the word gent into agent. Choose another and you run the risk. And with the Central London property market, who needs the risk…? Tim is the man you deal with. His knowledge, contacts and manner brings a sense of ease, understanding and logic to the process. He genuinely wants what’s best for you. That’s not always the case…A true gent. A true agent.
In an industry where few agents are worth their salt, Tim Day stands out as a beacon of professionalism, knowledge and wisdom. Given he's an owner/manager his interests are entirely aligned with yours and, quite simply, he delivers. I will actively look to use Tim's services again and can't recommend him highly enough. In fact, anyone looking to use another agent should only do so after having, at the very least, examined Tim's proposal. A high quality service from a high quality individual.
Thank you very much for handling the sale of the flat and for all the extra work you have done to expedite closing. You have provided a great rental management and sales service - thank you.
Tim Day is a rarity in the world of London Estate agents – he wants what’s best for his client. Genuinely enthusiastic and positive, from his initial price appraisal through to the day of completion of the sale of our basement flat, Tim was realistic about our expectations, supportive with his professional advice and whenever needed - pro-active. His knowledge and feel for this specialised market is beyond impressive and when you instruct Tim – that’s who you get on the end of the phone. Above all – he gets results. Whether selling or buying a lower ground floor property I couldn’t recommend Tim Day highly enough.
“...infectious enthusiasm, friendliness and steadfast support and reliability made marketing my house fun – a new experience.” R. Cook
“I am particularly grateful for your eye to the detail; no query from me was too minor for you to attend to. You were a steady hand on the tiller when the going got difficult.” Paul Barker
“I cannot recommend Tim highly enough. He achieved a higher price than I could have imagined swiftly and skilfully. Tim is a polite, trustworthy and skilled negotiator and also uses an excellent photographer. I would recommend him to my closest friends and family.” Jen M.
